Eastern Shore Primary Care

Matthew King, M.D. is a graduate of Washington College and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in suburban Philadelphia where he served as chief resident in his final year. Prior to starting Eastern Shore Primary Care, Dr. King worked in private practice in Chestertown, Md., for six years. His special interests include preventative healthcare and sports medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and staying active while training for various amateur sporting events.

Dr. Deon Edgerson-George graduated from the Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She completed her medical education and residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Edgerson-George's professional interests include preventative healthcare and adolescent medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, and traveling.
